HYDRA, S.H.I.E.L.D. Two sides of a coin that’s no longer currency.
"Please, talk to me."
"I have no idea…"
"I know what this is!"
"Why did you do that?"
"How could you do this?"
"Let me do it!"
"Leave me alone."
"Don’t leave me."
"Don’t touch me."
"Why weren’t you there?"
"Why are you here?"
"What are you doing?"
"Just look at it!"
"How did you get in here?"
"How did you escape?"
"I want to help you."
"You’re a monster!"
"You’re not a monster!"
#steve is like what #someone’s playing galaga #wait i don’t know what galaga is #shit what if it’s important #is it a sport #is it a band #is it a board game #like monopoly #(thank god they still have monopoly) #god i’d better just look #it’s behind me isn’t it #there is nothing behind me #GOSH DARN IT 21ST CENTURY
I like how many parts of the movie you realize Thor, Steve, and Loki really do not know what the fuck is going on.
I just want a movie with Thor, Steve and Loki attempting to figure out this century. LIke, no action, no adventure, no explosions. Just wifi.
And then every so often Tony shows up and just rolls his eyes as Loki screams at the toaster, demanding for it to surrender his breakfast.
You guys really just want an Avengers sitcom, don’t you
"Yeah. Glorious." Hoku grimaced as she glanced down at her heels. She could go a few miles in them, but then… ah, well. Walking barefoot was never a problem. She was Hawaiian and Hawaiians were born of earth and sea and fire.
As they set off for the mountains, she did hope it wouldn’t take longer than a day, maybe two at the most to reach the castle. Any longer and Sherlock would be looking for her and that would cause problems since, you know, she wasn’t really on earth any more (or was she? Where the hell was Oz located anyway?), and she also had a job, though she did have the next day off.
"So why are you after this book anyway?"
"What all kings crave above wealth and land. For power. The spells it contains can assure my invulnerability permanently."
He was aware that even the most powerful master of magic could still be defeated. The Grimmerie was an object that could stop that from happening, and he would rather it go to him than any deluded mortal from Oz or from her world. Then there was, of course, those spells of necromancy that couldn’t be found in the large library of Asgard.
Loki had spent time there, going through the different tomes and scrolls, in a vain effort to bring his mother back from the dead.
"Awe, well only around you Loki sweetheart" he winked, blowing a kiss
"Careful, Stark. One might think that you’ve taken a shine to me."
A brief look at what Thor, Odin, Laufey, and Loki have been up to since the events of the previous chapter. Excerpt from Of Life and Death included at the end.
"I wouldn’t know. I’ve never been in love." Oh, she had crushes, but they were no more than that. Just passing fancies on a handful of men across all the places she had lived in the past.
She frowned at his words. “…I’m not an animal.” She would not tell him that the thought of being physically bound terrified her. She could not go through that again and keep her sanity.
"You have never been in love? Is this a jest, sweet witch?" The idea of a human female not having had the chance to fall head over heels in love was enough to strike his genuine interest, and he leaned forward, eager to see her reaction.
"Oh but being chained is a regular activity in Asgard. For deviants and degenerates. I was chained too, once. Yet I am far from being an animal."
